The race that followed the Grand National was postponed while two fallen horses are assessed by experts. Broadway Boy and Celebre D’Allen fell during the headline race and a full update on their welfare is yet to be issued. 

Broadway Boy had been leading the race when he suffered a horror fall over a hurdle around three-quarters into the race. The seven-year-old fell upright onto his front legs before planting his face into the ground. Jockey Tom Bellamy came tumbling off the saddle but has since been confirmed to be okay.
